ALOHA FROM SPACE!
100 paintings. Acrylic on canvas. Each one is 8x6 earth inches.
A picture of all the Aloha from Space paintings spread out on an oriental rug. You can imagine sitting in the middle of all of them. Like you were surrounded by abstract shapes and colors and squids deep in the ocean. Or better yet, deep in outer space!
Another photo of all the squid paintings strewn about on the floor. You can tell painting them is playful. There is love and wonderment and excitement.
A cool photo of all 100 paintings stacked neatly together, front to back. Looks like a huge column of changing dynamic colors. And then the napkin Jon Jackson used to wipe his brushes while painting these. It's a light blue napkin filled with dots and Lins and marks of so many colors.
The apartment we invaded is too small to display all 100 paintings as one large collection. So here are 66 of us on a bed.
Here are 66 of the paintings arranged together on a bed. This gives you an idea for the field of color you are hit with when the squids are combined into one large tapestry mural.

Update: we made Jon take the paintings to the playground across the street. Here's all of us!

And voila! Here are all 100 paintings put together. Like an flat rectangular Voltron of bright and neon color and light.
A picture of all 100 paintings on a large sheet of white paper. This is on top of the black top pavement of a playground. There is a ladder in the foreground where the artist Jon Jackson had to stand on top of to get a shot of all the paintings together because they are so large.
